"Business Customer Case Studies Writer Robert Bly" |
|
Robert Bly is one of the best known copywriters in the business today. Originally an engineer, he started out over twenty years writing mostly technical, industrial, hi-tech and business to business ad copy, such as customer success case studies. Bob recently wrote a book on white papers, THE WHITE PAPER MARKETING HANDBOOK which has a long section on customer case histories in itBly's known at being a great self-promoter through the writing of books and articles. He's certainly published far more books on copywriting and marketing by regular New York City publishers than any other copywriter. That includes the well-known THE COPYWRITER'S HANDBOOK. And I can recall reading articles by him on copywriting published in the early 80s by either THE WRITER or WRITER'S DIGEST -- or maybe in both. In addition to his own copywriting work which might still include satisfied customer success studies, Robert Bly is active with The American Writers and Artists Institute (AWAI). Bob Bly is always at their Bootcamp held in early October of every year. He is the interviewer on many telephone conference calls they hold on various aspects of copywriting, including how to sell and promote and market yourself as a copywriter. He interviewed some of the experts for their specialized copywriting courses. Also with AWAI, he put on an entire weekend workshop on his to promote yourself as a copywriter. Also, he wrote a sales letter AWAI is using to promote its SECRETS OF WRITING FOR THE BUSINESS TO BUSINESS MARKET written by Steven Slaunwhite, the man who wrote the only book I know of devoted to the writing of marketing case studies. Information on how to write compelling extended testimonials is included in that AWAI course. I don't know whether he still actively seeks out case study writing as part of his copywriting career, but he is well known as one of the best business to business writers working today. |
